Reality
Once she dreamt
Of freely flying
Of touching the sky
Breaking all social barriers.
Where life was without restrictions
She could embrace her flaws
Freedom to dream was without a charge
Place of no norms and protocols.
With the morning drowned her dream
She cursed the sun
Sunshine brought pessimism to her
Opening the doors of the monotonous cage
That strangled her.
A dark epiphany struck her
Now the dream seemed shallow
And virtual
Heaven it appeared
That couldn’t be witnessed
Strange silence surrounded her
Amidst the chaos.
