The first recipient of the national Award instituted in memory of Fr J. Maurus is Dr Jagdish Gandhi, the Founder-Manager of Lucknow-based City Montessori School, which has on its rolls more than 56,000 students, and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest number of students in a school.
