Beauty in everything

There is a certain beauty in everything,
A mesmerising sort of one,
A kind that takes your breath away,
And a kind that shatters your heart.
The former is one most people would say is common,
But deep down in everything that breathes is a harsh and horrific truth,
But don’t misinterpret what I pen,
For there is certainly a beauty in destruction.
Have you seen how the lightning forms a pattern where it strikes?
Or with how much majesty a lion strikes its prey?
Or the bubbles in water that form as you drown?
Or how the dust settles as you fall your last?
There is certainly a beauty in everything,
And it’s not always in the light.
