Billabong High International School, Noida, holds 3rd inter-school literary symposium
Billabong High International School, Noida, in collaboration with HT Pace, organized its 3rd inter-school literary symposium titled The Chronicles of Discourse on 20 July 2018. The occasion was graced by the honourable Director of the school, Ms. Jasmine Gandhi, and Principal, Ms. Sharmila Chatterjee, and the esteemed members of the jury who excel in their respective fields of law, media and journalism.
Several schools from Delhi NCR participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in this convention which constituted of three segments: Debate, Panel Discussion and Radio Show. The participants debated on the topic, “Right to Education is an achievable goal that will change the face of India”.
The Radio Show witnessed scintillating performances on the topic “Incredible India” while the panel engaged in an intense discussion on the topic “Law should be an instrument of social change”.
Awards were given in the following categories: Best Debater (For and Against), Best Interjector, Best Panellist, Best Radio Show and Most Astounding Radio Jockey. In addition to this, an overall runner-up and winner champion’s trophy were presented to the schools on the basis of jury marks and their participation in all the three segments. While Billabong High International School was the runner-up, Lotus Valley International School, Noida, was the winner of the symposium.
