Don’t lose hope

Many memorable incidents have happened in the past one of which earned me name and fame. It was on the eve of World Tourism Day and many competitions were held in one of the finest hotels in Trichy. I took part in a quiz competition which I never ever wanted to do. I went with my buddy and two other college mates. Four of us represented Saranathan College of Engineering. I had no preparation but had a positive feeling that we could do well. Competition prelims started; two members per team, totally 60 teams took part in it and bravo! We cleared the first round. In the finals, six teams were competing for the championship. Honestly we didn’t perform well in the first couple of rounds and we almost started losing hope, but suddenly everything changed. A round of questions got us 50 marks. From there we didn’t look back and ended up winning the quiz! I learned one lesson; we should not give up or lose hope until it’s all over. Because miracles do happen and they happen only when you’ve got a positive mindset and perfect presence of mind. So guys, believe in yourself and the one particular thing in which you’re good at and trust me it will bring you success.
