Hope matters

by Crystal Rodrigues (16)

When there’s no one beside you,
No one to tap on your shoulder, no one to cry on,
Don’t lose hope, hope will keep you going.
When the times are rough and harsh,
When the days are sweet and warm,
Hope gives everyone a chance.
For better or for worse
Hope is there in everything we do…
When we walk, when we breathe, when we sing and when we sleep
There is hope in every cry of ours
There is hope in every joy of ours.
Even when there’s no one to listen,
Even when no one seems to understand,
Never lose hope.
