IFTTT

Think of IFTTT (If This Then That) as a team of assistants who do your tasks for free. Set up automatic actions for everything from backups of your pictures, to rescue phone calls to escape a boring meeting! Using an IFTTT account, activate any of the 105 available channels (like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc). An IFTT recipe needs a trigger (“if this”) and action (“then that”). Recipe examples include: “Tweet my Facebook status updates” or “When a new book is added to Kindle Top Free 100 eBooks, send me an email”. The Android app comes with a variety of new recipes not available to iOS users, including tapping into device notifications, location, phone calls, photos and text messages, e.g., “If my phone goes to voicemail, send the caller a text message”.
