I’m interested in the railways and archaeology
I am studying in Class 9. I am confused as to what field I should choose. I am interested in the railways via B.Tech., and I am also interested in Archaeology. What should I do?

Archaeology and engineering are two extremes. For a B.Tech., you are required to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2, and then join B.Tech. The Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) examination is conducted once a year to recruit engineers in railways. The selection is on the basis of preliminary exam, mains and interview.
On the other hand, Archaeology is the study of ancient art, monuments, excavations and other material to determine social habits, customs, living conditions, etc. It requires specialization in History. My suggestion is that for the next one year, just focus on studies, and find out which subjects you like more. And depending on your interest, you can decide on your career.
