Kill it with minimal!
Less is more — it’s time to swear by this sentence. Sometimes less is what makes you stand out. A simple yet elegant outfit and minimal accessories is the best, but not all of us can play that game. We always end up with a tad too much or maybe too less. The perfect mix of style and less isn’t easy to find. We need a minimalistic icon to lead the way and Alia Bhatt is just that. It may seem lazy to skip out on so much and not experiment but the fact is that Alia turns heads with her minimal looks.
Alia has proved that she’s the Queen of Minimal and has won hearts with her looks. She rocks the minimalistic look with such poise and ease. It’s time to take a few lessons from the Queen of Minimal on how to put together the perfect look. Let’s have a look at her bold and best minimal looks.
1. Alia took our breath away with her choice of outfit for the Critic’s Choice Awards 2019. While everyone else chose to go all out with their sarees and gowns, Alia picked a simple bird and floral motif damask jacquard jumpsuit by Flor.et.al. She rocked the bishop sleeves, deep neckline, and the flared leg. She also skipped the jewellery and went with minimal make-up. Alia pulled off the minimalist look for an award function just by keeping it simple and chic!
2. She was spotted wearing an extremely elegant Tarun Tahiliani ombre Benarasi saree in hues of pink and green paired with a red sleeveless blouse. She skipped all accessories and just wore a simple maang tikka. She stuck to minimal make-up with her hair pulled back in a ponytail with slight waves.
3. Alia rocked the floor with an off-shoulder maroon polka dotted dress from Sabyasachi’s Kashgaar Bazaar Collection 2019, adding his iconic Bengal Tiger belt to it. She put the look together with statement earrings and steered clear of any other jewellery pieces. She let her hair down with some large curls.
