Lanes of memories

A part of me was left behind,
As I left those lanes of memories.
From kindergarten
To completing school,
Everything past stood.
The clouds looked cotton pink,
And seasons changed with every blink.

To my fancy, a day came,
When I was asked to find another lane.
For life to continue and run well,
Everything required a change.

So I left for a new place,
With not a very merry face.
To create memories unfound,
In the lanes of another town.
