Lost in your mind
“Lost in your mind…” These lines from of Alan Walker’s Alone just tinkle in my mind whenever I get trapped in a dilemma. Isn’t it a genuine proclivity of us humans? Our minds — conscious and subconscious — both just seem to have arduous debates about our desires, needs, priorities and all that stuff! My heart then pulsates with the fear that an erroneous choices will make me repent later. If you share these feelings with me, then my unquoted quotations will work for you:
1. The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.
Never underestimate your own self. Be aware of the immense potential God has endowed you with.
2. It’s choice, not chance, that determines your destiny.
Never regret having made a decision for your betterment. Luck is entirely an X-factor. It’s the same cocoa that makes two favourite delicacies. Dark chocolate and milk chocolate don’t differ much except for the health benefits that the former is imbibed with.
3. Excess of anything is as futile as its dearth, be it a positive quality or a negative one.
4. You cannot fly like an eagle with the wings of a wren.
When you are in sync with your abilities, surely wonders will happen. However, when you are unaware of your capabilities, your competence gets decrepit just like those age-old rusted iron chains that must at once be broken!
Discipline creates greatness. You need to have clarity, focus and vision. Never give up! Never, ever accept less than the best.
