Mid-day Winner
Ingredients
6 whole-wheat bread slices
2 tbsps boiled green peas
2 tbsps grated carrot
2 tbsps mayonnaise
2 tbsps kara boondi
1 tbsp finely chopped green coriander
2 tbsps finely-chopped green coriander
2 tbsps finely-chopped tomatoes
2 tbsps butter, pepper powder and salt to taste.
Method
In a mixing bowl, add the boiled green peas, grated carrot, mayonnaise, kara boondi, finely-chopped green coriander, finely-chopped tomatoes, pepper powder and salt to taste.
Now butter the bread slices. Pat a portion of the prepared mixture on top of three bread slices. Cover with the remaining three bread slices. Press down firmly and then cut into triangles and serve.
Decorate with rose petals.
