Miles apart

Across the skies high above,
Across the oceans deep below,
Across the hills where valleys are spread miles away,
Across the horizon where the sun sets into the deep serene hole…
Two friends who are miles apart,
Wondering if still they are connected with the string made of heart?
One says: “Distance doesn’t matter.”
The other says: “We are soul sisters.”
Never doubt the diamond of friendship
It will never break apart.
Even though we are miles away
No obstacle can rip us apart.
