Sleep is a universally enjoyed and much-appreciated task and it is only fair that we dedicate a month to looking at some of the interesting sleeping habits of our friends in the animal kingdom.

Just no time for anything else…

Sloths are the epitome of rest, so much so that they represent a word in the dictionary for laziness. Sloths have proved to the world that though all they do is pretty much sleep day in and day out, they still innovate. For instance, they can sleep curled up in a ball, or, if in the right mood, sleep while hanging tightly onto a branch. They allocate 16-18 hours for sleep every day, so you can’t blame them if they don’t have time to socialize!
