Oblivion

Don’t be afraid of the oblivion.
The voices you hear are merely echoes of your own footsteps.
The shadows you see are yours, too.
It contains no adventure.
Don’t stare into the oblivion.
It is not as bewitching as you presume.
It contains no mystery, no fable, no secret.
If you do look for adventure,
I’d say look deeper into your heart.
If you do look for secrets, mysteries, fables,
I’d say look deeper into my heart.
