Slay the streets!

Ah well! How much will you shop online and in malls? Gets boring after a while, doesn’t it? I had been doing that for so long that I started missing all the colours and buzz of the streets. So, I decided to step out and go street-shopping! All that chaos, people bargaining, the colourful shoes and clothes and the variety and the new trends that come in every few months are what make the street shops the best.
Here are a few tips to get the best out of street shopping:
What to buy from street shops and why
When you shop from street shops stick to buying clothes that are not very common and avoid pieces that the market is flooded with. Avoid buying footwear and trendy bags from street shops as they are not too durable. There’s not much you can expect from footwear bought from street shops. They tend to break soon and render you shoeless. Bags bought from these markets aren’t strong enough to bear the weight you want to carry in your bags. Buy statement jewelry from street shops because you’ll never find anything cheaper online.
But why buy anything from street shops and put in all that effort when you can get branded stuff at low rates online and have them delivered right to your doorstep? Here’s why you shouldn’t miss out on street shopping:
1. Export clothes
In most of the markets, you’ll find replicas of branded clothes because many a time when clothes are exported, there is surplus stock and sometimes some pieces get rejected because of small flaws and all these pieces are then sold in the street shops at cheaper rates.

2. More for less
When you go street shopping you can get more clothes for less money. You save a lot and return home with more shopping bags!
3. No monopoly
Street shops have no monopoly like brands. You will find the same piece at every other shop. So, if one shopkeeper doesn’t bargain, the other one will!
