The silent boy

A train pacing its way,
The wind blowing past,
The horses galloping beside.
And in sat a boy wondering,
Looking at the stars and whispering,
Pouring out his heartiest desires.
Thinking about that single person
And going into a state of ecstasy.
Wondering brought him joy
Because socializing he didn’t like.
His thoughts were stars he couldn’t
Fathom into constellations.
All he wanted was to talk
Only to those select few.
His universe was complete
With those select few.
He was a glowing star
Who couldn’t shine without darkness.
He endured enough pain
And became a lantern
To shed light for everyone.
