Rearing reptile pets

Some of us don’t want to be in the same room as a lizard while there are others who love the warm feeling of a python on their laps. What do people see in lizards, chameleons, geckos and snakes? They don’t shed hair or dander, so that’s probably a great advantage. And on an average, reptiles are hardy and require little maintenance. If you love the feel of thick scales or rough skin, that’s an added bonus. And who knows — a little python curled up on the doorstep might be as good as a dog at keeping intruders away!
