Utter bliss

She happily crashed onto the soft green grass,
She had finally let the winter hues pass.
She stared at the cloudless, lavish sunset
Taking in the tranquillity with every breath.
Her soul had started to fill up with hope again,
The soothing sensation helped her get rid of all her pain.
The lavender flowers swayed in the wind,
Violet and mystic, against the apocalyptic sunset of red with a golden tint.
Daylight had finally begun to drain away,
And her thoughts started to go astray.

The scenic masterpiece drilled into her mind,
Flashed before her, every single time she tried to unwind.
What slipped through her tender lips
Was a longing sigh.
The picturesque, radiant sunset,
Was like a window to heaven a nigh.
