Virtual coffee date

Two coffee cups on a cafe table

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that the sun is bright outside, and the wind has gone crazy. Trees are playing havoc in the garden below and in spite of the wind, there’s heat in the air. And in spite of the heat, I’m sitting with the fan turned off.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that my exams start exactly two weeks from now, and instead of cramming those last two chapters of economics, I decide to spend time on YouTube and WordPress. Because, hey! I don’t feel like studying, so I won’t, right?

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that I was feeling particularly low last night, but then I talked to a friend and I felt so good. We didn’t really talk about anything important, we were just babbling about school and how we had grown apart since the last few days, and surprisingly, I slept with a smile on my face.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that I’m so excited for the movie I’m going to watch today afternoon with my friend. Even though the reviews are okay enough, I’m going to the theatre after a long time and I just need to go, sit back and relax for a while.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that I completed The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness today morning and I was so intrigued by the ending. I’m definitely going to read ahead and complete the series.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that I’ve been planning my next trip to the bookstore since yesterday afternoon, and the idea’s been eating my head since then. Book-buying is such a lethal addiction, my friends.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that the next thing I’m going to do after publishing this post is bury myself into my economics textbook and come out only once I’m done with the two chapters I plan to finish today.

If we were having coffee right now… I’d tell you that strangely, I feel pretty happy this morning. I think it’s going to be a good day.
