We continue to count on you!
Here’s another letter we received lately from Imphal, the Capital of Manipur, sent by Fr L. M. Mario, Rector, St Thomas Minor Seminary, Imphal who, he says, knew The Teenager (Today) from the time the magazine was hardly three years old!
Fr Mario writes: “Thank you very much for the wonderful work you are doing for the teenagers. I think yours is the only and perhaps the best youth magazine presently available in the country, and possibly in the world. I have known this great magazine The Teenager (Today), since 1966, when it was in a very small size of 8 x 5 inches. God bless you in the New Year and give you the strength to carry on this great and lovely work, you are doing for years.”
Thank you, dear Fr Mario, for joining the thousands and thousands of admirers of The Teenager Today. We are deeply grateful to you. We continue to count on friends like you!
At our side, we are determined to make every possible effort (we did this even when we had only the digital issues due to Covid-19) to see that every issue of the magazine is unique in its own way, and every new issue, one way or another, is better than the previous one. We guess you have also noticed that at least two new contributors are joining, every month, our regular columnists to make the magazine more participative, more interesting and beneficial for our readers and well-wishers. We love hearing from you, the true backbone of the magazine!
It is equally true that the magazine is facing more challenges now than it has ever faced before, specially resulting from the closure of schools due to the lockdown enforced by the government, which still prevails in many parts of the country. We earnestly request you, dear Principals of schools and junior colleges and the management, to support us during this critical period, by placing your orders for bulk copies for your students as soon as the schools reopen, and also introduce The Teenager Today to the nearby educational Institutions.
Young people in most parts of the world including India celebrate Valentines’ Day, on 14 February, every year. The Teenager Today wishes all our young readers a very Happy Valentines’ Day. For a change, this year, why not wish your Valentines, your close friends and those you love dearly with a gift subscription to The Teenager Today? They will, for sure, cherish this precious gift, all through the year, at least till Valentines’ Day, next year! Happy Valentines’ Day, dear readers, friends and well-wishers!
