What is the eligibility for BCA?

I am a Std XI Commerce student with Maths. In the future I want to do BCA. What is the eligibility for this course? Can I go in for higher studies after this?

BCA is a 3-year degree programme, for which eligibility is 10+2 with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer/Information Science being one of the subjects.

Mostly, the admission to BCA course is done through an entrance test. Various universities/institutions conduct their own entrance exams for granting admission to their colleges. Some colleges provide admission on the basis of merit prepared by the score of qualifying examination (12th).

After completing BCA, you can go for MCA (Masters in Computer Application), which is considered equivalent to an engineering course (B.Tech.).
