You’ll treasure this issue!
We receive a number of letters, every month, from our readers, most of them teenagers from across the country who form the big chunk of our readership. But they also come from Editors of periodicals, parents of teens, Principals of Schools and Junior Colleges and others, though we can publish only a few of them in our T-Mail column with a limited space of one page.
One such letter made all of us at The Teenager Today extremely happy and proud of the work we do without counting the cost. The letter came from Mrs K. Padmeswari, Principal, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Chennai, that reached us less than a week before we went to the press, which we carry verbatim in the T-Mail column of this issue.
We are publishing here an abridged version of the above. She writes: “I found your October 2020 issue highly informative and very useful. I can’t resist congratulating the editor and his team, and I am totally carried away by the various articles in the issue like Teens and Mental Health, Become a Pet Foster Parent, etc. Lesser Known Art Forms of Kerala is such an eye catcher….!
“After going through its content and its versatility, I felt I must recommend the magazine for our library and to some of our students, as the magazine gives a lot of exposure to teachers and students, besides providing opportunities for young writers…” Madam Padmeswari has done this immediately; the librarian of the school sent in her subscription, within two days’ time. We are sure more subscriptions from the school will soon follow.
The present issue, with the Polish teen tennis sensation Iga Swiatek on the cover, brings you an equal number (perhaps more) of excellent articles that will keep you updated, informed and entertained throughout the month: Be A True Winner by C. Joseph, Setting Meaningful Goals by Dr Rositta Joseph, Suave Mrs Sudha Murthy by Navniit Gandhi, Prioritize and Be Effective by Shivanand Pandit, Human Dignity and Human Rights by Dr Albert P. Rayan, to coincide with International Human Rights Day falling on December 10, and Yuletide: A Season of Kindness and Gifting by Irwin Almeida are all there to make the present issue of The Teenager Today one of the best of issues of the recent months.
Share your copy with your friends, asking them to subscribe to the magazine; but make sure you get it back and treasure it for years. I bet it is worth it!
