reMarkable 2 offers a paper and pen experience

reMarkable 2 tablet

The reMarkable 2 tablet is designed to take notes, read and review documents, and convert handwritten notes into typed documents. Its 10.3” e-ink display ensures that there are few distractions on the device, even though it can connect to WiFi for cloud syncing, updating and sharing documents via email. At 0.47 cms it is one of the thinnest tablets in the market, and weighs around 400 grams. A new document resembles a blank sheet of paper with digital tools like pen style (including calligraphy), page navigation, and add page to a “notebook”. Sort notes and documents with folders and tags, type and annotate directly on PDFs and ebooks, import Microsoft Office files and web articles, and sync files with Google Drive, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive. The top of Marker, the tablet’s stylus, acts as an erasure. Write with Marker, type with Type Folio or switch between the two. With Connect, take notes in reMarkable’s mobile and desktop apps, and access your work anywhere. The reMarkable 2 runs on Linux-based OS Codex, has a 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, while its 3000 mAH battery offers two weeks of battery life.
